NotInCA has just joined NAMTOBA this year, 2004, so we have a lot of eager young Thoroughbreds ready to race for their first time!

--- Ran well his first time out on a fast track. Set a slow pace, held on wire-to-wire (10f).  Ran a good race his 2nd time out on a hard track- has not been tested by a messy track yet, but is showing a lot of potential---

---Seemed to do well on the yielding/swampy turf.  Was the early leader in his first start but was overcome around 7fT.  Was the early pace-setter in his last start (9fT), but faded sharply in the final furlong. Ran him at 6.5f- showed  3rd in a good field, will continue him over shorter distances---

---Tracked the leaders in her first time out. Has a hard time running on saturated surfaces. Won G3 Swale Stakes. Broke on top, established the early lead and hung on. We think this filly may be really coming into herself now- have been stretching out the distances of her work outs. Failed to place her last time out- hoping a shorter distance will help---

---Had difficulty moving over the swampy spots in the turf her first time out so have decided to try running her on the dirt. Had a good run her second time out- came in 2nd, behind the leader by 15 lengths but had enough drive to hold off the rest of the field. Ran on the turf again her last time out- disappointing finish. Putting her back on the dirt to stay---
